Let’s say you go to school, right? You go to school, and they say when you get a degree, you apply for a job and you get it. But the art world’s not like that at all, you know what I mean? And I just focused on me. I just focused on what I’m doing and what I want to accomplish, and do it as best as I can, and I want people to understand that when I did that, it gave me the opportunities that I have today. I didn’t create what I do so I could get those opportunities. Like when you go to school, you work on your grades, you get your degree, and you get the job that you want. But in the art world, you create your work that is going to get you the opportunities in the future. I guess one of the biggest successes for me, in that sense, is that I found my voice in the art world, and I made it happen, you know, I’m making it happen, and that right there is an achievement. Physical achievements?

I think, like, doing collaborations with French Montana. That was really cool, like, that came out of the blue, too. He just messaged me, and he was like, “Yo, I want you in my music video, let’s do it,” and the next month, I was on set, and we were doing a music video for his single “Slide.” The Emmy, that came out of nowhere, too. That gave me a boost of confidence. It was like, yo, dude, like, that’s pretty cool. Fall Out Boy, too, that was a pretty big one, my CNN documentary for Great Big Story. That’s when I know, like, whoa, this is pretty cool. Going to Mexico and traveling, too. I think that’s a big accomplishment. Being brought out there and having everything paid for. It’s cool. And then being paid to be there, too, is cool. I think that’s an accomplishment, you know? But, yeah, I guess those are a couple of things that come to mind.
