Tina and George are two children from Brisbane. Read their story to find out what kids in Australia traditionally leave out for Santa.
“It sure is hot today! Santa’s got his work cut out travelling in this heat!” said George.
“I know, right? I have been drinking iced lemonade and eating chocolate ice cream all day, but I’m still boiling!” Tina sighed.
George would have liked some ice cream too, but his sister had already polished it all off. At least they didn’t need any of that for Santa! He opened the fridge to check that they had all the necessary supplies for Santa and his reindeer. It was 24th December and they had to leave out a little treat for them after such a long journey.
“So, do we have everything or do we need to go to the supermarket?” asked Tina.
“We have a six-pack of Fosters, a bag of carrots and a bottle of milk. Oh, and I also have those biccies I made yesterday.”
“A six-pack? We’d better not give him all six or he won’t make it to all the other kids tonight!”
