The main ways to express obligation are:
1. must, have to, need to = it’s necessary
2. don’t have to, don’t need to = it isn’t necessary
3. can, (be) allowed to = it’s OK to do this
4. mustn’t, can’t, not (be) allowed to = it isn’t OK to do this
