Art isn’t just for art lovers; it’s for everyone. This is Chinneck’s philosophy. His surreal public artworks have been appearing in England since 2012.
Chinneck told the website Londonist that, by putting his work in public, it can “connect with people who wouldn’t normally step inside a gallery or think that contemporary art is for them”.
Born in Bedford, England, in 1984, Chinneck studied painting at London’s Chelsea College of Arts before becoming a sculptor.
