    Here are five book tips from communication consultant Ken Taylor:

     

    Good to Great by Jim Collins (2001)

    The book describes how good companies can become great companies. I use some of his examples in my training.

    Influence – The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert B. Cialdini (2007)

    You can apply Dr Cialdini’s six principles of influence to any situation in which you need to persuade other people or protect yourself from being manipulated.

    Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell (2009)

    Gladwell discusses what makes successful people successful. To become highly skilful at something, you need 10,000 hours of practice!

    The Hard Thing about Hard Things by Ben Horowitz (2014)

    Horowitz is one of Silicon Valley’s most respected entrepreneurUnternehmer(in)entrepreneurs. He shows how difficult it is to run a business and analyses the problems leaders face.

    Surrounded by Idiots by Thomas Erikson (2019)

    Based on four personality types – Red, Blue, Green and Yellow – the book gives you a simple tool for to assesseinschätzen, beurteilenassessing everyone you communicate with. It’s written with humour and I use the tool he describes to good effect in my own training programmes.
