Share your travel plans with Stay

People sharing their travel plans with others is the idea behind Stay.com, a new online service. Sure, there are lots of other sites that let you build custom travel guides including Dopplr, YourTour, Offbeat Guides and NileGuide, but Stay.com is a little different.

Click on a button and you get a PDF guide of things to do and places to see along with a map, photos, addresses and opening hours. You can also customize those guides from a list of clubs, bars, museums, hotels and restaurants. As well, you can use guides for cities that other people have created before you. If users want to, they can share your personalized guide with the world using Facebook and Twitter.

Stay.com also integrates content from other travel information providers: TripAdvisor for reviews and OpenTable for restaurant reservations.

In the next phase of its development, Stay.com will add full mobile integration, geolocation, and video guides. The company says that the money it makes from hotel bookings will be enough to support the site.
