Sleeping for less in New York City
Hotels in Manhattan were 90 per cent full in May, according to PFK Consulting, which specializes in the accommodation industry. And guests are paying 10 to 15 per cent more this year than they did in 2009. Prices will probably keep rising, because the city's goal is 50 million Big Apple tourists a year by 2013. Now there's a new wave of budget hotels offering visitor-friendly rates of $200 to $250. With the help of Google, we're going to find some of them. Let's go!
