Travelogs is a free travel supplement inside every issue of Spotlight magazine. For the September Travelogs, Claudine Weber-Hof and David John Weber visited Torquay, England, where crime writer Agatha Christie was born. Here, Claudine introduces some of the places she talks about in her article, while David expresses his impressions in images.
Most tours of the "Agatha Christie Mile" in Torquay start here, at the bust of the author at the edge of the gardens near the harbour. The author was born in Torquay in 1890; she died in 1976. This bust was presented on the occasion of the centenary of her birth — on 15 September 1990.
