Procedure
- Ask students to talk about ethnic foods in pairs.
- Listen to any interesting stories.
- Ask each student to take out a sheet of paper for a short dictation. Dictate a passage from "I order several small dishes" to "a big fan of this cuisine" (page 36).
- Get students to write the sentences on the board. Make corrections and clarify unknown vocabulary. Do they know which cuisine it is? (Do not reveal the answer yet).
- Read the last two paragraphs on page 36 to the class.
- Do they agree with the statement that "simple food can be delicious"?
