Procedure
● Download and make copies of the online copy file● Go over the following symbols with your class: . (dot); @ (at); - (hyphen); _ (underscore); / (forward slash); : (colon); // (double (forward) slash); \ (backslash). Quickly revise the alphabet with lower-level classes.
● Arrange the class into A/B pairs and hand out the copies accordingly. Each student has five Web addresses that appear in the magazine.
● Students dictate the addresses to each other. They then swap copies and check their answers. Which of the sites do they think sound interesting?
● Pairs now take turns reading the addresses to each other again — this time more naturally. Student A should have student B's sheet and vice versa.
