Cliveden is England's most majestic country house. Every British monarch since George I has stayed there. Cliveden was also the scene of the Profumo affair, a sex and spy scandal that led to the collapse of the British government in 1964.

The "Church in the Pub" in Toowoomba

Archdeacon Gary Harch will be working in the Irish Club Hotel in Toowoomba on Easter Sunday. "I enjoy a drink or two, and so do a lot of people; and I think some people will enjoy the more informal-style mass." The church is coming to the pub.

Local beer finds lots of drinkers in London

Andrew Moffat recently left his job as a bond trader at Deutsche Bank to set up Redemption Brewery Company in Tottenham. Steve Brown, Tom Madeiros and Colin Masters run Twickenham Fine Ales just north of Twickenham Green. London is brewing again.

The magical colours of Ireland
