Travelogs 7/2011 takes us to a Shaker village in Massachusetts.

Airstream trailers are instantly recognizable, thanks to their characteristic rounded aluminium bodies. These originated in the 1930s from plans drawn up by Hawley Bowlus, the chief designer of Charles Lindbergh's aircraft, the Spirit of St. Louis.

This futuristic-looking machine is a 1.2 kW-electric-motor-powered, carbon-fibre, foldable bicycle called the YikeBike. It aims to solve the never-ending problem of city parking, and will possibly become the trendy, green person's status symbol in 2010.
