To be immersed in an English-language environment, one would normally need to spend time in a country where English is spoken. But not everybody can afford such a trip — especially for their kids. Fortunately, the world can be brought to them in the classroom.
With 30 years in education and educational publishing behind him, Spotlight author Robert Parr was ready for a change, a new challenge and a different culture. He found all three at a school in the state of Madhya Pradesh in central India. Here are his observations.
