Bill's big birthday wish list
15.08.2010
"When I left office, I had truly been blessed with an improbably wonderful life, and I wanted to spend the rest of it doing whatever I could to help empower other people — in America and around the world — to live their dreams." So says the man who was the 42nd President of the United States from 1993 to 2001.
It's his 64th birthday on Thursday, and here are some of the things on his wish list:
- Reduce malnutrition of Colombian students by 10 per cent.
- Give more than 20,000 farmers in Malawi the tools to improve their lives.
- Reduce lighting energy use in major cities by up to 70 per cent.
Clinton is using the Causes website to let his 369,000 Facebook fans know about his birthday wish.
