50 Cent is king
Rapper 50 Cent has a new television series, a video game called Blood on the Sand, an album due to be published in February and a book to be published later in the year. The musician has become a one-man multimedia enterprise.
In November in the US, 50 Cent: The Money and the Power began on MTV. In the show, 14 people compete against each other using their business skills and ambition. 50 Cent — real name: Curtis Jackson — is also the author of the forthcoming book The 50th Law, and his new album, Before I Self-Destruct, is to be released in February. Next stop: Hollywood. He's going to use his money and power to make films. "It's great to be in a place, a position, where you can find things that creatively inspire you without having to traditionally wait for the film companies to do it," he told the Los Angeles Times.
