A strong anti-globalization movement has existed for some years now, and one of the companies which has come under frequent attack is Starbucks, the Seattle-based coffee chain. In Spotlight 2/2005, you can read about the reasons why the protesters have chosen Starbucks as a target and why the company thinks it does not deserve to be one. LISA FOSTER looks at the history of the anti-globalization movement in the magazine. We focus on an extract of her text in our exercise this week, in which we look in detail at the tenses she uses.
