The Linux code by Linus Torvalds
05.10.2009
A blogger at a Linux World Conference in San Francisco, with computer code tattooed on her arm. Linux describes itself as "a free operating system originally created by Linus Torvalds with the assistance of developers around the world."
The reversed "c" in a circle on the blogger's arm is the copyleft symbol, which gives anyone permission to copy and change software. This is a mirror image of the copyright symbol; but unlike the copyright symbol, it has no legal meaning.
