These women in San Francisco are twins. They were born at the same time of the same mother. There are two kinds of twins: those who develop from a single egg, and those who develop from two eggs.
We call the first kind identical twins, because it's very hard to see any difference between them.
The other kind are fraternal twins. "Fraternal" means "like brothers": they are similar, but with some differences that can be seen.
