Roller skating in San Francisco
01.08.2010
Roller skating has come a long way since 1743. In 1979, two ice-hockey fans from Minneapolis, Minnesota, brothers Scott Olson and Brennan Olson, found a pair of skates made in the 1960s by the Chicago Roller Skate Company. Seeing a market for off-season ice-hockey training, they redesigned the skates using modern materials and attaching ice-hockey boots. That's how inline skates were born. The Olsons' company — Rollerblade, Inc. — is now owned by Nordica, part of the Italian Tecnica Group, which has its headquarters in Treviso.sich sehr weit entwickelt haben
