"Now I have no job, except telemarketing."
"I worked as a house model at Saks in San Francisco. The designers asked me to move to New York. I thought, 'Am I really going to take a chance and do that? That's kind of bizarre,' but I did. The modeling industry there said I would never be able to do magazine pages, only fashion shows. But after a test, three photographers sent me to Milan. A miracle happened. I did 14 pages for Harper's Bazaar. After that, I moved to Paris and lived there for 30 years, doing fashion shows, covers, magazine pages — all of it. I never thought that would happen to me. I moved back here in '97. Now I have no job, except telemarketing. I have nothing in my life. So that was the miracle that happened at that time. How to progress from there is where I am now at 66."
