Seth Harwood grew up in the Boston area, graduated from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and lives in Berkeley, California, with his wife Joelle and their dog. He teaches writing and literature at Stanford University.
In 2005, Seth Harwood started writing Jack Wakes Up, a thriller about a washed-up movie star, Jack Palms, who is knee-deep in a Bay Area drug war. A year later, the Jack Palms Crime Podcast series was born. In May last year, Random House published Jack Wakes Up.
