"I didn't even know he'd been stabbed"

Shaun: Someone robbed one of my friends. I tried to fight the guy, and he just pulled out a knife and stabbed me in the stomach.
Dustin: During the fight, Shaun fell down, and I didn't even know that he'd been stabbed. The guy tried to stab me, and I just jumped out of the way. He ran off. I helped Shaun walk up the hill to the car to go to the hospital. It was crazy.
Shaun: It barely missed my intestines and my kidney. I almost bled to death.
Dustin: I was freaking out. He had his hand in it, covering it, and I didn't even see what it looked like until we were halfway to the hospital. I'm like, 'Don't die!' and talking to him. When we got to the hospital, they were really not paying attention to us. So I was like, 'Dude, this guy's been stabbed!' and I just wheeled him into the ER anyway.
Shaun: I was in the hospital for a week. I believe in a power over Earth, so whatever kept me alive. I felt it by just waking up in a hospital bed with a big hole in my stomach and with all my friends there.
Dustin: After the hospital, he could not move. He was just lying on the couch. A lot of girls came to make him breakfast, bringing him Starbucks. It was great.
