Read all about it! The April Spotlight
The April edition of Spotlight goes on sale on Wednesday, 31 March. Eamonn Fitzgerald spoke to Editor-in-Chief Inez Sharp about the next issue.
Fitzgerald: The April issue of Spotlight comes with something new, and it's called "Travelogs".
Sharp:
We know from reader surveys that Spotlight readers love travel stories. So, when we decided to create an additional product, taking travel as the focus seemed the logical choice. From now on every month, Spotlight will include an extra booklet called Travelogs. In this we focus on a very specific destination such as a single event, a museum, a special district in a city usually from somewhere around the English-speaking world — it's the kind of focus that our magazine travel features don't cover. There are two kinds of travel: the first is where you actually take a journey and the other, often just as much fun, is the armchair trip. The Travelogs booklet, as the title implies, is like a travel diary. This makes it ideal to enjoy at home on the sofa, but it can just as well be used to plan a trip. And because we always like to include a little language-learning material, the back page of the booklet has a list of useful vocabulary from the text.
