Mike on Wednesdays, Dagmar on Fridays

The weather may not be ideal for spring cleaning, but these rainy days are perfect for housekeeping. No, not the kind of housekeeping that means running a home, but the type that's defined as "managing an office, business or industry and making sure it is kept working smoothly".

The housekeeping here this week concerns our blogs and it involves some scheduling changes. So, Mike Pilewski will be writing here on Wednesdays from now on instead of on Thursdays, while Dagmar Taylor moves from Wednesday to Friday. I'll be posting twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursday, and Jan Stuermann will continue to provide us with a fascinating photo each Monday.

Our new rota begins tomorrow with Mike telling us what Barack Obama is doing about the Gulf of Mexico oil spill he calls "massive and potentially unprecedented". Don't miss it.
