Watch the video and then complete the following sentence:

"Lady Gaga performed on Saturday Night Live wearing a _______________."

Lady Gaga is well-known for her outrageous dress sense. According to backseatcuddler.com, it's supposed to make men think.

Gaga says: "A girl's got to use what she's given, and I'm not going to make a guy drool the way a Britney video does. So I take it to extremes. I don't say I dress sexily on stage; what I do is so extreme. It's meant to make guys think: 'I don't know if this is sexy or just weird.'"

I have no words to describe what Lady Gaga was wearing on Saturday Night Live on NBC last Saturday. Not adequate words anyway. I'd like to find one word to do justice to what she was wearing. All I can come up with is "get-up" or "contraption".

But it was more than that. It was mesmerizing, the way she could move the five concentric metal circles with one tiny jerk of the hips. She must be talented if she could play the piano while wearing them. And still manage to look between the rings seductively. And sing. Respect.

I just hope this look doesn't catch on and that we end up really needing a word for it. I don't think I'd get any work done wearing a metal tutu.

I do not know what she was wearing either, but I do know why her name is lady GAGA.

Maybe the outfit explains why a new ring of Saturn was discovered yesterday.
